Our product
This RS-class certified thrust shaft produced by Totem is precision-engineered for nuclear-powered icebreakers.Our forging billets are made of high-quality steel ingots, which have better internal purity, uniformity and density compared with continuous casting billets. Our forgings undergo 100% ultrasonic flaw detection and meet the EN10228-3-1998 standard or the grade 3 standard of GB/T6402-2008.
Our castings are made of high-quality raw materials. Compared with non-impurity steel shavings, they have more stable composition accuracy, higher purity, fewer inclusions, better toughness, can withstand more frequent load impacts, and have a longer service life.
Workshop
For our production machining, we have built a dedicated management software system to achieve full-process Kanban management. We have multiple CNC machining centers, especially our 14-meter CNC machining center and the 20-meter CNC horizontal lathe, which guarantee the yield rate of our products.
Inspection
Our company has obtained the ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification. To ensure strict inspection of all outgoing products, we have appointed a seasoned inspection engineer formerly with CITIC Heavy Industries for meticulous quality control.
